Kulgam, Sep 20 (KNO): Two residential houses were damaged in a fire incident at K-Kalan village of Srigufwara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday, officials said.
They told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the blaze broke out due to a short circuit, damaging two houses.
“Timely intervention by Fire and Emergency Services and the Army’s 3 RR helped rescue the inhabitants and control the flames,” officials said.
The damaged houses belong to Abdul Rashid Wani, son of Late Mohammad Ramzan Wani, and Ghulam Nabi Ganie, son of Late Abdul Khaliq Ganie residents of K-Kalan.
